For technology and software companies
An engineer's keys are the way in.See who is exposed, then prove it.
Living Security reads signals from the tools you already run to reveal human and agent risk, with training evidence ready for your SOC 2 auditor and every customer security review.
Security teams at
What reaches your people
The week a software security team recognizes.
The breach scenarios from the Human Risk Management Framework that start with a person in your sector, and the signals that show them building.
The keys engineers and admins hold
An admin on SMS codes for MFA. Production access kept after a move to another team. A leaver's account active after the exit (HB-07). Living Security joins identity and HR signals into a sequence; Livvy proposes step-up MFA or an access review; your team approves.
Shadow AI and agents with real permissions
A developer pastes a customer's stack trace into a chat assistant. A coding agent with production access that no one owns. AI Agent Governance shows the AI your developers use, scores agents as it scores people, and flags any agent without an owner.
Phishing aimed at finance and engineering
A payment request in the CFO's name reaches finance at quarter close (HB-05). A broken-build alert with a sign-in page reaches the on-call engineer. Living Security Phishing, Voice Phishing (Vishing) and SMS Phishing test the people attackers target, coach every click and thank every report.
The requirements we help you meet
For the auditor, and for the customer security questionnaire.
Training at hire and every year, with completion records, maps to what SOC 2 auditors look for and to NIST CSF 2.0 awareness and training. Content and evidence support ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR training of staff who process personal data.

What it asks for
Personnel get awareness and training to do their work with cybersecurity risk in mind; people in specialized roles get training for their tasks.
How Living Security helps you meet it
Awareness for everyone, role-based assignments for specialized roles, and reporting that shows who finished and how behavior is moving.

What it asks for
The data protection officer monitors awareness-raising and training of staff who process personal data; people with access process it only on instructions.

Blackbaud, a software company, showed leadership its program working and the risk going down. At HRMCon 2026, Labcorp told the room to extend human risk management to AI agents.
“Now we can actually show leadership that our program is working and the risk is going down.”
“expand human risk management beyond humans… make sure that your agents or your AI workforce is getting the oversight that it needs.”
Questions
Human risk for software companies, answered.
Does the training help us meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 awareness requirements?
Yes. Security Awareness Training at hire and every year, policy acknowledgments and completion reports for the audit period map to what SOC 2 auditors look for, and the same content and evidence support ISO/IEC 27001 awareness and training for the people in scope of your ISMS. Your own policy training, built in Content Studio, stays pinned to the approved version. Your auditor decides what your program needs; we help you meet it and show the evidence.
Can we use your reports to answer a customer security questionnaire?
Yes. The completion and compliance reports show who was assigned which training, when they finished it, which policy version they acknowledged and their phishing simulation results, exported per person with dates, which is what the training rows of a questionnaire usually ask for. For questions about Living Security itself, our own security documentation is on our trust page.
How do you handle shadow AI and AI agents with real permissions?
AI Agent Governance shows the AI tools your workforce uses, discovered daily, and puts AI agents in the same risk model as your people. Misuse counts as risk, approved use counts as protective and simply using AI is neutral, so your developers keep their tools. Every agent is tied to an accountable owner; one without an owner is flagged Unowned (Needs Review) with a playbook to fix it. Upload your AI use policy and Livvy proposes the approved and unapproved vendors; a person on your team approves the list.
We process EU customer data. Does the training cover GDPR?
Yes. GDPR training, PII training and data privacy modules cover the staff who process personal data, with completion records the data protection officer can show, which supports the DPO's duty to monitor awareness-raising and training under GDPR. Content Studio turns your own data handling policy into training, word for word, with a review step before anyone is assigned it. Your DPO and auditor decide what your program needs.
Do we have to replace the phishing and training tools we already run?
No. Results from the tools you already run flow in as signals and count toward each person's risk from day one, alongside signals from your identity provider, email, web, data and HR tools. Move to Living Security Phishing, Security Awareness Training and the team experiences when you are ready. The integrations page shows whether we cover your stack.
Clear the security review. Then show the risk going down.
Training evidence for SOC 2 and the questionnaire, the AI your developers use in view with an owner for every agent, and a report that shows human and agent risk going down.
