Phishing reaches a clinician first.See who, before care is disrupted.

Living Security finds the human and agent risk behind phishing, shared logins, ransomware and patient data leaving the building, then helps you act on it before care is disrupted.

What reaches your people

Threats a health system sees every week.

The breach scenarios from the Human Risk Management Framework that start with a person in your sector, and the signals that show them building.

HB-01 · Phishing & social engineering

Phishing aimed at clinicians and the front desk

A nurse between patients, a scheduler confirming a referral, and an email that looks like the EHR vendor or a colleague. Simulations by email, phone and text show who clicks and who reports, and coach each person on the spot.

HB-02 · Credential abuse & account takeover

Shared workstations and remote access

A workstation on wheels shared by the whole shift, a remote login on a password reused from home. A shared or stolen login starts the sequence that ends in ransomware against care delivery (HB-03). Livvy proposes step-up MFA or an access change; a person approves.

HB-06 · Data mishandling & error

Patient data leaving by the wrong door

A chart sent to a personal account to finish at home, results left in an open shared drive. Mishandling and error, the quiet breach scenario. Signals from your DLP and email tools show who needs a nudge before it becomes a breach notification.

The mandate

HIPAA, GDPR and the frameworks beside them.

The HIPAA Security Rule asks for a security awareness and training program for the whole workforce, including management. Our training maps to it, with content and evidence for GDPR on EU patient data, and for NIST CSF 2.0, ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2.

How the platform and products fit

What each product does for a health system.

Each runs on its own. Inside the platform its results become signals on each person's record, and the playbooks act on them.

Questions

Human risk in healthcare, answered.

Does the training map to the HIPAA Security Rule?

Yes. Our training maps to the HIPAA Security Rule's security awareness and training requirement, 45 CFR 164.308(a)(5): a program for the whole workforce, including management, with security reminders, malware protection, log-in monitoring and password management. The library carries passwords and MFA, ransomware and data privacy modules, Healthcare: Cyber Checkup for teams, reminders and nudges, and completion records by department. Your auditor decides what your program needs; we help you meet it and show the evidence.

We hold EU patient data. Does the content support GDPR?

Yes. Our content and evidence support the GDPR training obligations in Article 39(1)(b) and Article 32(4): the data protection officer monitors awareness-raising and training of staff who process personal data, and people with access process it only on instructions. GDPR training, PII training and data privacy modules cover it, with completion records the DPO can show. The requirement finder on this page also lists NIST CSF 2.0, ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2.

What do you need from our systems, and what happens to the data?

Signals come from the email, identity, web, data and HR tools you already run, with HR context such as role and tenure, and nothing to install on a clinical workstation. Risk levels are shown to the people you authorize, with the evidence behind them, and a person's score is theirs: never published, never a ranking. Our own posture is cloud, with data residency in the US or the EU; security documentation and our compliance reports are available on request.

Will anything change a clinician's access without a person approving it?

No. Livvy, our AI security analyst, explains who is driving risk and why, and proposes the next move: a short module, a manager nudge, step-up MFA or an access change pushed into your identity provider or ticketing tool. Your team approves it before it runs, and access changes always wait for a person's approval, so a control reaches a clinician only after your team has reviewed it.

How do we show the board that risk went down?

By measuring behavior as well as completions. Every person's signals roll up into the Human Risk Index, and the reports show the share of risky users and the time people spend in a risky state month by month, by department, with the cohorts behind the trend and the actions that changed it. In the 2026 Human Risk Report with the Cyentia Institute, organizations spent 68% less time in a risky state after targeted action, and the share of risky users fell 25–30% in the first six months.
