As the CEO of Living Security, Ashley is passionate about helping companies build positive security cultures. An adaptable problem solver, she is thoughtful and transparent in her approach to running the company and working with clients toward a singular goal: to reduce risk by making security awareness engaging and quantifiable.
Ashley has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and is a serial entrepreneur with experience designing and managing product lines. After launching her career in the tech industry, she became intrigued by cybersecurity and its accelerating impact. Now Living Security combines that interest with her passions for entrepreneurship and helping people.
Living Security’s creative mastermind, Drew, combines his experience developing security programs and his love of game design to expertly craft immersive products. He seeks to engage end users and create excitement with his educational experiences.
Drew is a CISSP with a Bachelors of Science in Cybersecurity. Using the military as a springboard, he has spent years building and optimizing security programs in the public and private sectors. He applies that in-depth knowledge to reduce enterprise and personal risk through science-based, collaborative security awareness programs.
Graham joins Living Security as our Director of Threat Intelligence, having previously run the threat intelligence and security awareness programs at Geisinger Health in Pennsylvania. Graham has also worked on cyber security for defense contracting, foreign policy, and tech firms and is the co-founder of Leksika.org, an intelligence platform focused on Russia and Eurasia. Graham (C|EH, Sec+) has a B.A. in Intelligence Studies and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Criminal Justice/Forensic Psychology.
As Living Security’s Operations Manager, Amy contributes to organizing and streamlining processes internally. She has worked in numerous industries, gaining a wide-range of experience in project management, writing, editing, and producing. Amy has a multifaceted skill set and is an expert facilitator of knowledge-sharing on the team. She has a B.A. in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, and a M.A. in Media & Communication.
With an understanding and passion for people, Erik Book joins Living Security as the Customer Success Specialist. He focuses on client satisfaction and maintaining outside relations. Erik has a strong background in logistics, operations, and training in positions involving software education and program coordination. His versatile experience and dedication to helping other people enables him to provide outstanding customer service. Erik has a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Corrections.
Providing a global perspective, Aaron Cohen, President of CertNexus, is an entrepreneurial-minded, recognized expert in information technology related to cybersecurity - making him an excellent resource as an advisor to Living Security. As the Co-founder of Blackfin Security and Founder of The Hacker Academy, both now a part of Symantec Corporation through acquisition, Aaron created innovative training solutions used throughout the Global 2000 and government organizations worldwide.
VP of Marketing for the Austin-based prescriptive analytics startup, LeanDNA, contributes over 20 years of experiences in marketing and sales in the technology industry to the Living Security team. She is best known for leading technology companies through transition states, including acquisition and mergers, accelerated growth, and divestiture. Tanya completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and holds a marketing degree from Cornell’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Lance Hayden, the Chief Privacy and Security Officer at Elligo Health Research, works with diverse stakeholder groups, including both students, executives, and board members. He has has extensive experience in IT strategy and governance, risk management, compliance, and the cultural and behavioral aspects of security and privacy. Lance has a Ph.D in Information Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
Google Analyst Nathan Tacha is a long-time friend of the Living Security team. He is a system-level thinker with over 10 years of experience using teamwork and technology to solve problems. Nathan has a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M and an MBA from Kellog School of Management at Northwestern University.
