New · HRM Framework 2.0

Know where your human risk program stands.Know what to do next.

The open Human Risk Management Framework scores programs in five levels, from Comply to Preempt, across six practices. Take the assessment and get your level and a 90-day plan in about 4 minutes.

The maturity model

Comply → Observe → Prioritize → Orchestrate → Preempt.Five levels. Each one is the next thing to do.

  1. Level 1

    Comply

The program meets the training requirement and counts activity: training completion and simulation clicks.

What great looks like. Training completion at or above the target the program set, for example 95%, and repeat clickers tracked by name.

  2. Level 2

    Observe

The program observes behavior across several risk domains and knows who reports.

What great looks like. Report rate above click rate across the workforce, and every team scorecard refreshed on the cadence the program set.

  3. Level 3

    Prioritize

Threat, access and behavior are joined per person, and the riskiest cohorts are ranked and targeted first.

What great looks like. The Critical cohort (targeted, clicks, holds sensitive access) below the share of the workforce the CISO set as the target, for example 2%.

  4. Level 4

    Orchestrate

Playbooks orchestrate controls across the stack as risk changes, and the program proves its lift.

What great looks like. Median time from signal to automated action inside the target the forum set, for example 24 hours, for every active playbook.

  5. Level 5

    Preempt

AI predicts which attack sequences are forming, and the program acts before the next step, at machine speed, for people and AI agents on one risk model.

What great looks like. The stage 3+ population falls each quarter for every priority breach scenario, and every board KRI sits inside its threshold.

What's new in 2.0

Built for the program you run now.People and the AI agents beside them.

01

Levels you act on

Five levels named for what a program does next: Comply, Observe, Prioritize, Orchestrate, Preempt.

02

Six practices

See, Understand, Act, Prove, Govern, Culture. Each is scored, so you know which one holds your level back.

03

People and AI agents

AI agents and service identities sit in the model beside people, with owners, scopes and logs.

04

Anchored to real breaches

Breach scenarios tie the model to Verizon DBIR and VERIS patterns and FBI IC3 categories.

05

Mapped to the standards

NIST CSF 2.0 and MITRE ATT&CK, with CIS Controls v8.1, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and CMMC 2.0 by domain.

The framework says what to do.Living Security does it.

Every step on your roadmap is a playbook. Living Security runs them on your own signals: it finds the people and AI agents driving risk, acts before it escalates and shows leadership that risk is going down.
