Jinan leads Forrester’s security and risk research in Asia Pacific. Jinan’s research focuses on enabling chief information security officers (CISOs) and technology executives to lead a high-performing security organization and culture. Jinan globally leads Forrester’s awareness, behavior, and culture coverage, using strategic and innovating thinking to shape the market. Jinan is also an advocate for diversity and inclusion in security. Quantifying Behaviors & Risks for HRM
Traditional security measures struggle to quantify human risk in real-time, leaving organizations blind to potential breaches. Disparate tools, ineffective training, and a lack of communication make it difficult to track the right actions and report risk to the board in a meaningful way. This session, designed for cybersecurity professionals who want to identify and track risks effectively will explore the human element in cybersecurity, highlighting the critical risks associated with areas like identity threats, phishing, and data loss.
About Chris
Chris leads the data science and data engineering efforts for Unify at Living Security. His role fluctuates across product development, software engineering, and researching analytic techniques that improve risk quantification. He is passionate about building data-driven products, with an eye toward solutions that benefit from machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Prior to joining Living Security, Chris became excited about the data and algorithmic challenges in cybersecurity while building User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) tools.
Chris has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Machine Learning Applications from Virginia Tech.
