Each year, HRMCon brings together cybersecurity thought leaders and practitioners to present a half-day virtual conference geared toward continuously evolving the power of behavior change in mitigating risks.
Security is often called “everyone’s responsibility,” but it rarely factors into how performance is measured or managed.
In this session, experts from Living Security will explore how human risk scorecards—for both individuals and managers—bring security into everyday performance conversations.
You’ll learn how to:

Living Security | Head of Data Science
Traditional security measures struggle to quantify human risk in real-time, leaving organizations blind to potential breaches. Disparate tools, ineffective training, and a lack of communication make it difficult to track the right actions and report risk to the board in a meaningful way. This session, designed for cybersecurity professionals who want to identify and track risks effectively will explore the human element in cybersecurity, highlighting the critical risks associated with areas like identity threats, phishing, and data loss.
Chris leads the data science and data engineering efforts for Unify at Living Security. His role fluctuates across product development, software engineering, and researching analytic techniques that improve risk quantification. He is passionate about building data-driven products, with an eye toward solutions that benefit from machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Prior to joining Living Security, Chris became excited about the data and algorithmic challenges in cybersecurity while building User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) tools.
Chris has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Machine Learning Applications from Virginia Tech.
