Configuring your Okta application for SCIM user provisioning

The System for Cross-Domain Identity Management (SCIM) user management API enables automatic provisioning of users between the Living Security Training Platform and Okta.


  1. Login to Okta admin, click Applications, and locate and click into the Living Security application you created for single sign-on.
  2. Select the General Tab, click Edit, click the bubble for SCIM provisioning, and Save.

  3. Click the Provisioning Tab, click Edit, and configure the following options:

    Option Value
    SCIM connector base URL https://platform.api.livingsecurity.com/users/scim
    Unique identifier field for users UserName
    (or the attribute that = user email address)
    Supported provisioning actions  ✅Import New Users and Profile Updates
    ✅Push New Users
    ✅Push Profile Updates
    Authentication Mode HTTP Header
    Authorization Your secret token

  4. After saving, click To App for attribute mapping options. Reference the supported attributes article to map the appropriate attributes for your environment.
