Training Platform - How do I add or remove users in bulk from an active campaign?
To make any changes to campaign enrollment, your campaign must be set to Dynamic. If you campaign is set to Static, you will need to convert the campaign to Dynamic in order to for changes to the audience to impact the campaign. Be cautious! All changes that have occurred to that audience since the campaign launch will be reflected in campaign enrollment and assignments could be launched immediately or the next day.
Remove in bulk
You can remove an entire audience from a dynamic campaign in the Campaign Builder. Those in that audience will no longer receive additional training. Content already assigned, along with associated notifications, will remain tied to those in that audience.
If you want a portion of people within that audience to stay enrolled in the campaign, create a new audience with those people. Add that audience to the campaign, then remove the larger audience.
If you would like to remove people as if they never were enrolled in the campaign
- You can do this individually through audience exceptions. This will remove all completion data associated from all dynamic campaigns tied to that user through the audience.
Learn more here. - You can stop the campaign which will remove it from the everyone's dashboard. Completion data will still be captured in reporting.
Add in bulk
You can add more audiences to an active dynamic campaign in the campaign builder.
- If your campaign is Relative Dates, members of the newly associated audience will start on Day 1 of your timeline. Any assignments on Day 1 will wait until the next day at your execution time (configured in Campaign Settings) to be assigned.
- If your campaign is Specific Dates, members of the newly associated audience will start on today's date. Any assignments on today's date will wait until the next day at your execution time (configured in Campaign Settings) to be assigned
- If you would like this audience to receive missed assignments, be sure to toggle on Assign Past Content before adding the new audience.
