Phishing: Target Users

To get to Target Users, Admins will click on the Company Tab and select Target Users.

In the People Tab, Admins will see a list of all the users that are already in the Phishing Tool and are ready to be grouped. This will also be the section in which Admins will add new users by clicking the "+ New" button. We suggest using our Audience Sync feature to create users in the Phishing tool, however, admins can add target users manually by typing out each Target Users' information or through a CSV Import.

To edit a user, Admins can click on the pencil icon under Actions.

If Admins are needing to delete a user or view what groups a user is already in, they can click on the 3 vertical dots to the right of the Pencil icon under Actions.

To create Groups, click on the Groups tab and click on "+ New".

Admins will need to name the Group as well as assign a priority for the group depending on how risky they are or how much attention they should get. For instance, a group of repeated clickers may get assigned a priority of Very High due to this group requiring more focus/training.

Once an Admin has created the group, they will click on the three vertical dots on that group to add users.

Admins will add all Target Users relevant to the Group created. Once an Admin is creating a Phish Simulation Campaign, they will click the Target Group desired for that campaign.

How to add multiple Target Users to a Group

Before starting, create the Target Group placeholder first so that you can select the Target Group when importing the users.

The easiest way to add multiple target users into a group is through a CSV import. To do so, head over to Company > Target Users > New > Import from a file.

You will then need to import a file with all users.

We recommend downloading the sample CSV to fill out with the first name, last name, and email addresses of the users you wish to add to the desired group and importing once ready. The other fields on the sample CSV are optional.

In step 2 "Map Fields", select the desired group you wish to add the users you are importing to.

Click next to validate. The users will not be duplicated as they will already exist. The Group will now have all users that were in the CSV import upon import completion.

Repeat Offenders

Repeat Offenders is an automated target group that includes users who have been phished two or more times within the last three months across all phishing simulation types, including Vishing, Quishing, Phishing, Callback, and Smishing Simulators. This group allows you to view high-risk users and send them training more frequently.

There are two ways to see the repeat offender users:

  1.  Go to Company > Target Users > Groups. There, you will find the Repeat Offenders target group, which contains users who have been phished multiple times.
  2.  Go to Company > Target Users. There, you will see a banner labeled Repeat Offenders. Click the SEE REPEAT OFFENDERSbutton to view users who have been phished multiple times.
