Unify - Integrations Page
In order to add or edit an integration between your organization and Unify Insights, the Integrations Page is where you start!
📚Overview
Unify Insights relies on discrete events from Software-as-a-Service tools and services within your IT organization to paint as in-depth a picture of your attack surface as possible. In order for an integration to be enabled, edited or disabled you will need to navigate to the Integration section of your Unify Insights Admin portal.
Once you have navigated to this page, you will see a list of enabled integrations, how many data streams currently providing data to Unify, and an application store of available integrations that your organization can add.
🗒️ If you wish to add an integration to Unify, but you do not see the tool or service on the Integration page, you will need to reach out to your Customer Success Manager to inquire about having that service added as a supported integration.
✅ Adding an Integration
In order to add an integration, simply select the + Add button under the available service to begin the process. Based on the integration you will need to provide required information that is within the Data Integration Guide for that service.
You may find a list of Data Integration Guides in our Unify Integrations Overview article.
⚙️ Editing an Integration
If you want to edit an integration that already has streams enabled, simply select the integration at the top of your Integration Page you would like to edit. You will be taken to an Integration Details Page that will show you what streams are active, any errors that have occurred that might be preventing events from streaming to Unify Insights, and the Edit button that will allow you to change the values of your integration.
❗Editing the sensitive credentials of your integration will completely replace the existing credentials that are stored in Unify Insights. Please ensure that the credentials have all valid permissions/requirements granted before replacing these credentials, as once removed the old credentials are permanently deleted.
Please see the Data Integration Guide of the integration you are editing to ensure that all requirements are completed prior to saving your changes. These can be found in the Unify Integrations Overview article.
🚰 Integration Streams
Once credentials have been added, you will be able to click into a specific stream to administer the stream itself, view how the stream is performing, and enable/disable that stream.
In order to enable or disable a stream, simply select the "Enable Stream" at the top right of the page, which is available when the stream is in a Disabled state. "Disable Stream" will be available for streams in an Active state.
The Stream Result history is available to show requests that have been made by your Unify instance to the specific endpoint for the integration. If there is an issue, you will see it populate here.
⚠️ If there are repeated failures from a stream, there is most likely an error with the authentication or the service stream. We recommend you reach out to help@livingsecurity.com to assist you with troubleshooting your integration.
