Data Integration Guide - Tenable.io (Nessus)

In order to use Tenable.io to collect Nessus data, the scanners must be linked to Tenable.io. Link Nessus Scanners to Tenable.io if they haven’t been already.

Granting Access

  1. Create a user account to use for data collection (permissions required shown in the chart below).
  2. Edit the user account.
  3. In the API Keys section, click Generate API Keys.
  4. Review the warning and click Replace & Generate.(The Generate API Keys text box appears).
  5. The new access and secret keys for the account appear in the text box.
  6. Copy the new access and secret keys to a safe location (the 1password vault provided by Living Security).
