🔒 Granting Access 

To create an API client, follow these steps: 

1. In the Falcon console, access your API clients at Support > API Clients and Keys
2. From the API Clients and Keys page, click Add new API client on the right of the OAuth2 API Clients table. 
   1. Client Name (required) 
   2. Description (optional) 
   3. API Scopes (required): 
      1. Select the Read and/or Write boxes next to a scope to enable Provide details to define your API client: access to its endpoints. 
3. At least one scope must be assigned. 
4. A “–” displays in place of a checkbox when a Read/Write action for a scope is not available. 
5. Click Add to save the API client and generate the client ID and secret.

Scopes Required: 

• DETECTIONS 
• HOSTS 

❗ Required Information 

The values Living Security will need to access the API are: 

• Client ID 
• Client Secret
