Data Integration Guide - Cofense PhishMe

🔒Granting Access

🗒️ NOTE: This procedure assumes that you are generating a token for the first time. If you already have a token, generating a new one will deactivate your current token and cause any scripts that use your current token to fail. Be sure to update those scripts with the new token.

To generate your token in the new Cofense PhishMe user interface:

  1. Click your profile in the upper right corner of any PhishMe page.
  2. Click Account.
  3. On the Company Settings tab, scroll down to the Access and Security section. In the API Token subsection, click
  4. Generate Token.
  5. (Optional) Set the API token expiration date. By default, the token is set to never expire
    1. NO2TE: You can only set an expiration date when you generate a token.
  6. Click Generate.
  7. Click Copy to copy the value from the token field to your clipboard.22
  8. When creating the service in Unify, ensure that the Host URL is that of the region your Cofense instance is out of. Ex: US - login.cofense.com, UK - login.cofense.co.uk

⚠️In order to complete your Cofense PhishMe Integration. You will need to provide a Timezone format that is based on the linked encoded format. Without this format, you will receive an error when attempting to save your integration configuration.

❗IMPORTANT: Before you close the window, verify that you captured the token in a safe place. You cannot retrieve this token in Cofense PhishMe after you close the window. If you lose this token, you must generate a new one and then update the Authorization headers of any active requests that use the old token.
