Unify - Create a Training-Based Action Plan with Living Security Training Platform
This article provides step-by-step instructions for assigning Living Security training to a group of individuals from an Action Plan in Unify
Step 1: Prepare the Training Campaign in Training

Access Campaign Builder:
- Navigate to Training and open the Campaign Builder.

Create a Campaign:
- Name your campaign appropriately (e.g., "December Data Classification Training").
- Avoid using terms like "Action Plan" in the campaign name as it will be visible to employees.

Don't Select an Audience

Leave the Audience field blank for now, as the audience will be created during the Action Plan setup in Unify.

Set Up Training Content:
- Select training content to assign, such as videos or modules.
- Specify the assignment and due dates (e.g., assigned on launch, due in 15 days).

Configure Notifications:
- Define notifications to inform employees of their training responsibilities. Example email cadence for training due in 15 days:
- Day 1: Assignment notification.
- Day 10, Day 15: Reminder notifications.
- Day 16, Day 18: Overdue notifications.
- Use the Notification section to customize templates with your company’s branding.
- Save and test each notification.

- Ensure all components (content, notifications) are properly configured.
- Save the campaign for later use, do not hit launch!
Step 2: Identify the Audience in Unify

Navigate to Unify:
- From the Unify dashboard, identify the individuals that you would like to train. Common mechanisms for identifying these individuals include:
- A Lens filtered on Highly Risky identities.
- A Lens specific to your organization's risk tolerances.
- Utilize a Recommendation
- You can view the Identities that meet the criteria selected within the People tab.

- Adjust filters if necessary to ensure the group includes the desired individuals.
Step 3: Create the Action Plan in Unify

Initiate the Action Plan:
- Click on "Create Action Plan."

Define the Action Plan:
- Name the action plan (e.g., "December 2024 High-Risk Training Plan").
- Optionally, add a description for internal reference.

Set Insights for Tracking:
- Select up to five Insights to track (e.g., MFA adoption, phish reporting, blocked data transfers).

Define the Audience:
- Label the audience (e.g., "High-Risk Employees December 2024").
- This group will be used for the training campaign.

Link the Training Campaign:
- Select the planned training campaign. This step links the audience from the Action Plan to the campaign.

Save the Action Plan:
- Click "Create Action Plan." This begins the tracking of the employee subset but does not send training.
Step 4: Validate and Launch the Campaign

Review Notifications:
- Revisit Training to verify that all notifications are configured and tested.

Confirm Audience Selection:
- The Campaign in Training will now reflect the Audience created within the Unify Action Plan.

Launch the Campaign:
- Click the "Launch" button in Training.

Track Completion in Unify:
- Use the Action Plans section in Unify to monitor training completion rates and behavioral metrics.
