Configuring your Okta application for SCIM user provisioning
The System for Cross-Domain Identity Management (SCIM) user management API enables automatic provisioning of users between the Living Security Training Platform and Okta.
- Login to Okta admin, click Applications, and locate and click into the Living Security application you created for single sign-on.
- Select the General Tab, click Edit, click the bubble for SCIM provisioning, and Save.
-
Click the Provisioning Tab, click Edit, and configure the following options:
Option Value SCIM connector base URL https://platform.api.livingsecurity.com/users/scim Unique identifier field for users UserName

✅Push New Users
✅Push Profile UpdatesAuthentication Mode HTTP Header Authorization Your secret token - After saving, click To App for attribute mapping options. Reference the supported attributes article to map the appropriate attributes for your environment.
- Assign users to the Okta application.
ℹ️ We do not support the SCIM Groups resource type which allows for creating, updating, and managing groups and their membership through the SCIM API. However, we do support the concept of assigning groups of users within an Identity Provider to an application so you do not have to assign users one-by-one.
