There are times when you don't want end users to fully engage with their training platform in order to experience Living Security content.
- If you have been provided Living Security content links, you can add your own UTM code to collect click-throughs.
- If you have MP4 content, these need to first be uploaded to a content management system like Vimeo, or a file hosting service like Dropbox, which can provide you with a link to access the MP4.
UTM Codes are concatenated to the end of the URL, are prefaced with a question mark, and typically contain three elements.
Here is an example:
In most cases, the marketing tool your company already uses can generate a UTM code for you. Interactions with the URL can then be tracked within your own marketing tool. Please reach out to your marketing department to request a UTM code.
If that is not an option, there are third party companies like Linkly and Google Analytics which offers this type of tracking for free.
Note: Living Security does not provide support for off-platform tracking.
